Role Overview
The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Materials and Inventory Duties
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate stock, issue, return, and transfer records.
- Issue materials only against approved requests.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks.
- Maintain proper material labelling, storage, safety, and housekeeping.
- Prepare stock and material-consumption reports.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineers, and site supervisors.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of storekeeping experience is required; construction experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials and inventory control is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory software is required.
- Good organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills are required.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 per month.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
