Storekeeper

Storekeeping Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect materials, tools, equipment, and supplies delivered to the store.
• Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Store and organize materials to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
• Issue materials to employees and site teams based on authorized requests.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the concerned department when materials need to be reordered.
• Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile differences with system records.
• Maintain documentation for receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
• Ensure materials are properly identified and labeled.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping within the store.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Accounts, Project, and Site teams regarding material requirements.
• Monitor slow-moving, damaged, expired, or obsolete materials and report them to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a construction company.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, consumables, and equipment.
• Good understanding of inventory and stock control procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Experience with ERP or inventory software is an advantage.

Pay

• Pay is AED 2,000–AED 2,300 per month.
