Role Overview
Supervise and coordinate MEP system installation and execution for building construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submissions, and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to avoid clashes.
- Prepare material requirements, monitor procurement, and track progress against project schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with drawings, quality standards, safety procedures, and authority requirements.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover of MEP systems.
- Maintain progress reports, inspection records, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant MEP execution and coordination experience in building construction projects is required.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
- Revit or BIM knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and site coordination skills.
