Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse or store.
Receive, check, store, issue, and record materials and stock.
The role requires organization, basic computer knowledge, and accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, equipment, and supplies and verify quantities and specifications.
- Check materials against delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Arrange and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Issue authorized materials to employees, project teams, and departments.
- Maintain stock records and monitor inventory levels for reordering.
- Conduct physical stock checks and assist with inventory counts.
- Ensure material identification, labeling, safe storage, and warehouse cleanliness.
- Prepare stock reports and update records using Excel or basic computer or ERP systems.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Accounts regarding materials and deliveries.
- Report damaged, missing, or excess materials to the supervisor.
- Follow warehouse safety, security, and material-handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar experience is preferred.
