About the Role
Saje Natural Wellness is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store business, including team development, driving KPIs, and delivering excellent customer experience. Responsibilities
- Attract, hire, and train Team Members committed to creating conditions for financial wellness in retail stores
- Engage, develop and retain top talent by leveraging their expertise and unique skillsets
- Ensure development and succession planning at all levels of the team
- Create and maintain a succession strategy
- Have regular conversations about performance and deliver feedback with direct reports
- Establish and maintain key communication rhythms including team meetings and business updates
- Create annual and quarterly strategic plans to support growth of the business
- Generate business results and achieve key KPIs including revenue and comp growth goals, AVS, IPT, traffic, conversion, loyalty program growth and labour targets
- Display strong business acumen and analytical skills to grow the store business
- Ensure Team Members are equipped with product knowledge to make intentional recommendations
- Uphold presentation standards and assess merchandising opportunities
- Cultivate an environment of excellent community member service
Requirements
- Leadership disposition visionary leader who is naturally warm and compassionate with drive to exceed results
- Retail experience deep understanding of retail environment, expert in delivering experiences to community members and proven sales floor leadership
- People leader has led retail team members before and understands how to inspire a team to achieve results
- Community connector leverages entrepreneurial approach to building brand through relationship building
- Track record of success achieved or exceeded success metrics 90% of the time throughout career
- Stamina and positive attitude thrives in challenge, solutions focused
- Flexible work schedule with availability on mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Available each year during vacation black out period between November 15 January 15
- High school diploma
- Comfortable working in a scented environment
- Passionate about engaging with Community Members in a personalized, hands on way, applying products to self and others
