Overview of the Role
- The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the store meets sales targets while maintaining high levels of profitability and customer satisfaction.
- This includes managing store operations, ensuring merchandising standards are met, and overseeing the training and development of store staff.
- The role requires leadership to drive performance, manage resources effectively, and implement strategies that align with company goals.
What You Will Do
- Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
- Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses.
- Control company assets by adhering to loss prevention measures such as inventory management, stock movements, sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Execute and comply with company policies and store procedures.
- Support recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining high quality associates.
- Lead by example in training and providing ongoing feedback on product knowledge and selling skills.
- Organize weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to discuss store performance and new company goals.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times through assessment, coaching, and follow up with the team.
- Maintain visibility and lead by example on the sales floor to support selling functions.
- Implement all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
