- Implement supermarket strategies, policies, and operational plans in alignment with Majid Al Futtaim Retail objectives
- Drive commercial performance through analysis of sales, profitability, and operational metrics
- Ensure effective merchandise and inventory management, including stock availability, pricing consistency, waste reduction, and shrinkage minimization
- Oversee supermarket service functions, including asset maintenance, hygiene, health & safety compliance, and customer service standards
- Lead and develop the supermarket team by setting performance objectives, providing feedback, coaching, and supporting talent development
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, operational procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Minimize waste and shrinkage while ensuring effective inventory control and product availability

ROLE SUMMARY
- The Store Manager – Supermarket is responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery and efficient day to day operations within the assigned supermarket.
- The role drives sales growth, maximizes profitability, ensures optimal stock availability and management, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports sustainable business growth.
ROLE PROFILE
- Implement supermarket strategies, policies, and operational plans in alignment with Majid Al Futtaim Retail objectives.
- Drive commercial performance through analysis of sales, profitability, and operational metrics.
- Ensure effective merchandise and inventory management, including stock availability, pricing consistency, waste reduction, and minimization of shrinkage.
- Partner with Merchandising and Department Heads to maintain attractive product displays, efficient stock replenishment, and timely delivery of merchandise.
- Oversee supermarket service functions, including asset maintenance, hygiene, health & safety compliance, and adherence to customer service standards.
- Lead and develop the supermarket team by setting performance objectives, providing feedback, coaching, and supporting talent development initiatives.
- Identify training and manpower requirements, coordinate learning initiatives, and implement on the job training to build team capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s corporate policies, operational procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
