Role Overview
Island Tower Electromechanical Works LLC is seeking an experienced Store Manager for warehouse and project-store operations.
The role covers receipt, storage, issuance, tracking, and control of materials, tools, equipment, and consumables for electromechanical, MEP, and construction projects.
The Store Manager coordinates with Procurement, Project, QS, Accounts, and Site teams to ensure material availability and accurate inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and project-store operations, including safe and systematic material storage.
- Receive materials, equipment, tools, and consumables and verify quantities, specifications, condition, and damage against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Prepare MRR/GRN documentation and issue materials to site teams against approved material requests.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, returns, transfers, stock balances, damaged items, surplus, slow-moving items, and obsolete materials.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment and material transfers, and conduct physical stock checks and reconciliations.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Control tools, equipment, PPE, and consumables, including registers, employee issues, returns, and accountability.
- Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and warehouse personnel, allocate duties, and monitor performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and HSE standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management procedures.
- Experience handling MEP materials, tools, equipment, and construction consumables.
- Knowledge of GRN/MRR, MIR, material transfer, stock issue, and inventory reconciliation procedures.
- Experience with MEP, electromechanical, HVAC, chilled water, infrastructure, or construction project stores is highly preferred.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- ERP or inventory management system experience is an advantage.
- Good English communication and documentation skills.
