About the Company
Vast-Auto Distribution is a subsidiary of O'Reilly Automotive and distributes and retails auto parts across Eastern Canada.
The company operates within a large North American organization serving customers under the Parts City Auto Parts and O'Reilly Auto Parts banners.
Main Responsibilities
- Maximize sales by directing team members to provide prompt, courteous, and professional walk-in customer service.
- Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company according to company policies.
- Retain customers, grow assigned accounts, assess customer needs, and solicit stocking programs and equipment sales.
- Supervise team members and collaborate on recruiting, hiring, evaluations, promotions, discipline, and termination.
- Partner with Sales and Pricing to establish pricing levels for installers and walk-in customers.
- Maximize gross profit on outside purchases and monitor price overrides and price matches.
- Schedule staffing, review hours, provide training, complete evaluations, and maintain store organization.
- Communicate through operational tools and provide accurate stock adjustment reports to Inventory Control.
- Implement planogram changes and merchandising plans from the To-Do List.
