Role Overview
The role is a Storekeeper based in Dubai within the construction main-contracting industry.
The position manages materials, tools, and equipment for a construction site store.
Inventory and Materials Management
- Manage and control site or store inventory, including materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and material issues.
- Inspect incoming materials and verify quantities and quality against delivery notes.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials on site.
Coordination and Reporting
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material requests and deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation including GRNs, MRNs, and stock reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a main contracting company in the UAE is mandatory.
- Experience with ERP systems for inventory and store management is mandatory.
- Previous experience in construction site stores is essential.
