Role Overview
The Project Engineer oversees and manages construction projects from beginning to end.
The role coordinates design and execution activities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 7–10 years of experience in a contracting company in the UAE is required.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and engineering principles is required.
- Candidates must be able to plan, organize, and manage project resources effectively.
- Candidates must communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Candidates must identify and resolve technical and logistical issues.
- Candidates must lead and motivate on-site laborers and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules and budgets and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Manage project resources and facilitate communication among architects, contractors, and other parties.
- Provide technical support, resolve technical problems, and ensure execution according to specifications.
- Monitor progress, identify cost or schedule overruns, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and review plans, specifications, and reports.
