Job Overview

  • The Store Keeper is responsible for managing all store, stock, and inventory activities for the business. This role requires a highly organized and detail oriented person who can receive, store, issue, monitor, and control all goods, ingredients, packaging, supplies, and equipment items in an accura

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming goods, ingredients, packaging, supplies, and equipment items.
  • Check received items against purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and approved specifications.
  • Verify item quality, quantity, expiry dates, packaging condition, temperature, and supplier accuracy.
  • Report any damaged, missing, expired, incorrect, or poor quality items to management immediately.
  • Ensure all received goods are properly recorded in the inventory system or stock records.
  • Store all items in the correct location according to category, temperature, safety, and hygiene requirements.
  • Maintain proper organization of dry stores, chilled stores, frozen stores, chemical stores, packaging areas, and general storage areas.
  • Apply FIFO and FEFO methods to ensure older or near expiry stock is used first.
  • Issue ingredients, supplies, and materials to the kitchen, bar, bakery, pastry, service, and operations teams based on approved requests.
  • Monitor stock levels daily and inform purchasing or management when items need to be reordered.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and month end inventory checks.
  • Ensure all store areas follow food safety, hygiene, and municipality requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Assistant, Receiving Clerk, or similar role in a restaurant, café, hotel, catering, bakery, or F&B environment.
  • Strong understanding of stock control, receiving, issuing, storage, FIFO, FEFO, and inventory procedures.
  • Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, expiry control, and storage standards.
  • Ability to use inventory systems, POS/back office systems, spreadsheets, or stock control software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and support daily operational requirements.
  • Physically able to lift, move, and organize stock items when required.
  • Honest, reliable, organized, and responsible.

Salary

  • Pay: AED 1,500 AED 3,000 per month
