Position details
- The position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and requires onsite work.
- The engagement is a three-month contract with potential extension.
- The expected start is immediate or as soon as the candidate is available.
- The posting requests a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Job responsibilities
- Administer enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments.
- Manage SAN/NAS storage, connectivity, capacity, performance, and availability.
- Support VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix integrations with enterprise storage platforms.
- Operate backup and storage technologies including Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, and Synology NAS or similar tools.
- Support multi-site data centers and critical production environments.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, and data protection activities.
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments.
- Strong hands-on SAN/NAS storage administration experience.
- Knowledge of storage connectivity and high-availability storage environments.
- Experience with enterprise storage integrations for VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
- Relevant storage, virtualization, or cloud certifications are preferred.
- Enterprise-scale storage migration and disaster recovery solutions experience is preferred.
