Role Overview
Avensys is seeking a Senior Storage Administrator with hands-on experience managing enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments.
The role supports multi-site data centers and critical production environments.
Primary Skills and Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAN/NAS storage administration and enterprise data center environments.
- Experience managing storage capacity, performance, availability, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of SAN, NAS, storage connectivity, and high-availability storage environments.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix and integration with enterprise storage platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, Synology NAS, or similar backup and storage technologies.
- Strong understanding of backup, disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, and data protection.
- Experience supporting multi-site data centers and critical production environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle P1/P2 incidents, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes.
- Experience with Azure Storage and Azure Backup is an advantage.
Operational Scope
- Manage enterprise SAN/NAS storage, LUNs, RAID, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI.
- Perform storage provisioning, replication, backup, snapshot management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Support virtualization integrations, multi-site data centers, and critical production environments.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes.
