Role Description
Support daily stock control activities to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient stock management.
Stock Control Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, checking, counting, labeling, storing, transferring, and issuing stock according to company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory movements, replenishment requirements, and stock availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP, inventory management, or stock control systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks and reconcile differences with system records.
- Investigate discrepancies, shortages, damaged items, and variances and report findings to the relevant team.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Operations, and other departments on stock requirements and movements.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, damaged, expired, or obsolete stock and provide updates.
- Assist with stock transfers, adjustments, returns, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, variance reports, and other management information.
- Ensure stock is organized, labeled, stored, and handled according to operational and safety procedures.
- Support inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives to improve stock accuracy, availability, and control.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
