Role Description
- Support sourcing activities for suppliers, products, materials, and services.
- Research suppliers and markets, prepare quotation or proposal requests, and compare commercial information.
- Maintain supplier databases, sourcing records, product information, quotations, and documentation.
- Coordinate samples, specifications, certifications, and required information with suppliers and internal teams.
- Support supplier evaluation, selection, negotiations, onboarding, sourcing projects, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Product, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments.
- Track sourcing actions and prepare reports, supplier comparisons, cost analyses, and presentations.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, merchandising, or a related field is required.
- Good understanding of sourcing, procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and commercial fundamentals is required.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills are required.
- Communication, coordination, negotiation, and relationship-management skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Familiarity with ERP, procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or purchasing systems is advantageous.
- Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines are required.
- Commercial awareness of cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance is required.
