Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment
- Keep the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage areas clean and organized
- Dispose of waste and garbage according to company procedures
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are used safely and stored properly
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies when required
- Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and operational tasks
- Follow health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times
- Report any damaged equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Ensure sufficient clean utensils and equipment are available during service
- Perform other duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Head Chef
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Steward or Kitchen Helper is preferred
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Job Summary
