Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our casual dining restaurant in Dubai.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high volume casual dining restaurants within the UAE.
  • This is a hands on leadership role for someone passionate about hospitality, operational excellence, and people development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall day to day operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the restaurant team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage restaurant performance to achieve sales, profitability, and operational targets.
  • Monitor food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and hygiene in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Prepare staff schedules based on business requirements while controlling labor costs.
  • Monitor food cost, beverage cost, inventory, and wastage to maximize profitability.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and implement effective service recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Municipality regulations, HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
  • Conduct regular staff training, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and implement improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 3 years as a Restaurant Manager in a casual dining restaurant in the UAE.
  • Proven experience managing high volume restaurant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, including P&L, food cost, labor cost, and inventory control.
  • Experience leading and managing multicultural teams.
  • Strong understanding of UAE food safety, HACCP, and Municipality regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
  • Experience using restaurant POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with international or well known casual dining restaurant brands is highly preferred.
  • Opening experience will be an added advantage.
