Role Overview
The Steward supports hospitality operations by keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and ready for service.
The role focuses on maintaining serviceware, supplies, equipment, and safe working conditions.
Responsibilities
- Clean chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, and pans, and polish silver.
- Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
- Mop kitchen areas and remove waste as part of routine cleanliness duties.
- Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
- Handle hazardous substances safely and follow hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report safety concerns and equipment issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Train and mentor new team members to support team performance.
