Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Steel Fixer Engineer with knowledge of reinforcement works and construction site practices.
Responsibilities
- Read structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
- Supervise and inspect steel fixing and rebar installation for slabs, beams, columns, foundations, and walls.
- Check bar sizes, spacing, laps, cover, and alignment against approved drawings.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and steel fixers.
- Monitor quality, progress, and site safety requirements.
- Report technical issues and ensure work follows project specifications.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in steel fixing and reinforcement works is required.
- Ten years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules is required.
- Good knowledge of construction standards and site safety is required.
- Arabic-speaking candidate is required.
- UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
