Job Summary
Lead overall operations for structural steel construction projects from mobilization through completion and handover.
Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, within budget, on schedule, and to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage steel structure project operations and lead multidisciplinary project teams, including project managers, site engineers, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors.
- Plan and monitor execution, manpower, equipment, materials, resources, productivity, costs, variations, and profitability.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, commercial teams, and procurement teams.
- Oversee steel erection, fabrication, welding, bolting, cladding, roofing, testing, inspection, and handover.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules, HSE requirements, QA/QC standards, and construction standards.
- Identify risks, delays, and operational issues; implement corrective actions and provide performance reports to senior management.
- Develop client relationships and support high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of construction or contracting experience with strong structural steel project experience.
- Proven experience in a senior Operations Manager or Projects Manager role.
