Role Overview

Stage Gate Assurance

• Coordinate asset management assurance inputs and monitor trigger points for relevant Stage Gate sessions.
• Monitor requirements linked to operator strategy, operational readiness, budgets, delivery plans, asset requirements, and handover readiness.
• Prepare assurance summaries covering status, risks, conditions, evidence gaps, and recommended decision positions.
• Support go, conditional-go, and no-go recommendations through evidence-based and risk-informed decision records.

Design Review Coordination

• Facilitate design reviews with City Asset Management, City Operations, O&M, delivery teams, and technical leads.
• Coordinate review input on operability, maintainability, lifecycle impact, Opex, service levels, asset requirements, and handover readiness.
• Track review comments, owners, responses, and closure status, escalating unresolved issues before Stage Gate decisions.
• Consolidate evidence, risks, conditions, and unresolved matters for recommendations.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Asset Management, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in asset management, project controls, assurance, governance, or project management is desirable.

Experience

• Experience in asset management, governance, assurance, design review coordination, handover readiness, project controls, or infrastructure delivery.
• Strong understanding of Stage Gate processes, action tracking, evidence management, risk escalation, and decision support.
• Experience with City Operations, O&M teams, delivery teams, consultants, and asset management stakeholders is preferred.

Preferred Background

• Background in asset management governance, operational readiness, handover, assurance, PMO, or design review environments.
• Exposure to ISO 55001-aligned principles, including lifecycle, value, risk, and continual improvement.

Technical and Functional Expectations

• Stage Gate assurance, design review coordination, and governance reporting.
• Evidence management, comment tracking, action closure, and decision logs.
• Operational readiness, handover requirements, maintainability, and lifecycle considerations.
• Asset management platform use, dashboards, exception reporting, and escalation management.
