App Infrastructure Team
The App Infrastructure team owns shared mobile infrastructure used by other mobile feature teams.
Its responsibilities include design systems, networking, observability, experimentation, CI/CD, app releases, developer tooling, availability, and stability.
The team values ownership, adopted tools and runbooks, written specifications, technical expertise, and close collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long horizon and connect it to business-impacting projects.
- Collaborate with product management, design, analytics, and engineering teams to manage technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs.
- Act as a force multiplier by defining technical solutions and operational processes.
- Own team operations and availability through monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting.
- Support on-call and keep-the-lights-on efforts.
- Set code review and design standards and advocate for quality and ownership beyond the team.
