App Infrastructure Team
The App Infrastructure team owns shared mobile infrastructure used by Affirm's feature teams.
The team owns the design system, networking, observability, experimentation, CI/CD, releases, developer tooling, availability, and stability.
What You'll Do
- Set technical strategy and connect team work to business-impacting projects.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to manage technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs.
- Define technical solutions and operational processes that multiply team effectiveness.
- Own monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, alerting, and on-call operations.
- Set code review and design standards and advocate for quality and ownership.
- Develop talent through feedback, guidance, and leadership by example.
What We Look For
- 7+ years developing and architecting mobile applications, including 4+ years using React Native.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and hands-on React Native and Expo experience.
