About the team
Affirm is building more transparent and friendly consumer credit products.
The App Infrastructure team owns shared mobile infrastructure used by every other mobile feature team.
The team maintains shared components, networking, observability, experimentation, CI/CD, releases, developer tooling, stability, and availability.
What you will do
- Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long horizon and connect it to business-impacting projects.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to manage technical sustainability, risks, and trade-offs.
- Drive team effectiveness through technical solutions and operational processes.
- Own monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, policies, testing, alerting, and on-call operations.
- Set code review and design standards and advocate for quality and ownership.
- Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent on the team.
What we look for
- Seven or more years of experience developing and architecting mobile applications are required.
- Four or more years of React Native experience are required.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript is required.
