Role overview
Own and lead engineering projects across Harvey's product lines.
Work with AI, legal and go-to-market teams to build secure systems for customers.
Contribute to application-layer and generative AI products across consumer, enterprise and industry contexts.
What you will do
- Scale document ingestion and processing growing at ten times every six months.
- Design large-scale data collection across more than 50 legal jurisdictions.
- Build high-security systems for governments and professional firms.
- Lead AI projects across web, desktop, mobile, Google Docs, Microsoft Word and API experiences.
- Build agentic orchestration layers, tool calls and retrieval systems.
- Ship across the stack with React and TypeScript on the frontend and Python and Postgres on the backend.
- Architect intuitive user experiences and robust APIs for streaming results, long-running processes and complex tool-calling workflows.
