About the Role
Affirm is looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the end-to-end bank product, operationalizing a new bank charter, launching the deposit product, and driving loan originations.

Responsibilities
- Own the end to end bank product across deposits, loan originations, banking compliance, and operations
- Launch and own the bank's deposit product, scaling from early launch to multi billion dollar deposit base
- Operationalize the de novo bank build: drive cross functional work to stand up and scale bank operations
- Drive originations through the bank entity, working with Credit, Capital Markets, Engineering, and Treasury
- Navigate banking compliance and regulatory requirements with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Bank executive team
- Integrate the bank deposit product into Affirm's consumer ecosystem across Servicing, Settlements, Consumer Payments, Checkout, and Growth teams
- Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and priorities to senior leadership and the Bank Board
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic, independent leader on complex, ambiguous initiatives
- Proven program leadership at scale with high visibility cross functional launches
- Experience in banking, deposits, or lending
- Bank charter experience strongly preferred
- Deposit product strategy experience a strong plus
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or banking
- Strong technical fluency comfortable with system design, data models, API architecture
- Proficiency with AI assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor)
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional alignment across Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Finance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Bias for action and intellectual curiosity
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience

What We Look For
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- Proven program leadership at scale.
- Experience in banking, deposits, or lending.
- Bank charter experience strongly preferred.
- Deposit product strategy experience a strong plus.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or banking.
- Strong technical fluency.
- Proficiency with AI assisted tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional alignment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.

- CAN base pay range per year: CAD 181,000 CAD 241,000.
