Staff IT Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, including configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Support North America and global SAP deployments.
• Manage schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Support SAP production operations and continuous optimization.
• Contribute to Global Template design and rollout initiatives.
• Maintain project and business process documentation.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP implementation or application support.
• At least 3 years of project management or project coordination experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA with hands-on experience in FICO.
• Exposure to MM, SD, PP, or other integrated SAP modules.
• Experience in SAP projects within large manufacturing enterprises.
• Participation in global template design, global rollouts, or cross-regional implementations.
• Strong project management, business analysis, process design, solution delivery, collaboration, and communication capabilities.
• Strong English communication skills for global stakeholder discussions and project delivery.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Compensation

• The anticipated annual compensation range is 76,900–117,875 CAD.
• Final compensation depends on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
• Bonuses or commissions may also be considered.
