The employer is seeking an SSHE Officer for its operations team in Jeddah.
The role supports a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Key responsibilities
- Implement EHS policies and procedures in line with company standards.
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards affecting people, property, and the environment.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate safety records.
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements to reduce workplace risks and discomfort.
- Work with employees and management to strengthen safety awareness and loss prevention.
- Deliver safety training when required.
- Prepare and maintain emergency response plans.
- Support compliance with ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
- Promote adherence to EHS rules, procedures, and safe working practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, HSE, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment, or a similar role.
- Kawader Safety Certificate is required.
- OSHA, NEBOSH, HSE, or OSH certification is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures and risk assessment.
- Understanding of ISO 45001:2018 standards.
- Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Preferred profile
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, food and beverage, industrial operations, or production environments will be highly considered.
Work location
- The work location is Jeddah Industrial Area, Saudi Arabia.
