Role Overview
HVAC Technician position with the maintenance team of an FMCG and beverage manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia.
The role is based in Jeddah and covers HVAC and refrigeration systems across industrial, office, and residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain air-conditioning systems in offices and residential facilities.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and diagnose HVAC technical issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Repair HVAC units with appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Work with industrial refrigeration systems, especially ammonia-based systems.
- Assess repairs and recommend equipment replacement when appropriate.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Support safe and reliable operation of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Guide and train less experienced technicians when required.
- Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma in a technical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, or related field.
- One to three years of relevant HVAC or refrigeration experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and good troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in an industrial environment.
Preferred Profile
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred.
- Industrial refrigeration experience, especially with ammonia-based systems, is highly preferred.
- Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, manufacturing, industrial refrigeration, facilities maintenance, or HVAC operations will be highly considered.
