Sr. Technical Lead / Architect

The Role

Location Preference

Technical Leadership and Architecture

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for assigned products and platforms.
• Define technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Make architecture decisions covering scalability, security, performance, maintainability, and cost.
• Lead design discussions, architecture reviews, engineering standards, and migration from legacy technology.
• Design cloud-native applications with microservices, APIs, integrations, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs and ensure availability, reliability, observability, and security requirements.

Development and Delivery

• Lead full-stack development using Python, SQL, AWS, and React JS.
• Review code, resolve complex frontend, backend, database, and integration challenges, and maintain engineering standards.
• Drive technical deliverables through production deployment, including estimation, risk identification, planning, and execution.
• Support Agile delivery methodologies.

Team, Cloud, and Quality

• Mentor and coach a small software engineering team and support hiring and onboarding when required.
• Define CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments and infrastructure, and improve logging, monitoring, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Promote secure coding, automated testing, static analysis, code reviews, and compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with product, business, UX, QA, engineering, customer, and leadership stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• 10–14 years of professional experience in software engineering and technology.
• Python backend development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• RESTful API design and development experience.
• Front-end experience with React JS, JavaScript ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux or Context API and REST API integration.
• SQL and relational database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• AWS Cloud Platform and cloud-based architecture experience.
• Experience with scalability, availability, Auto Scaling, Load Balancing, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture, AWS networking and storage services, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and modern development workflows.
