About the Role
Brunel is hiring a Senior Technical HSE Engineer for a contract role in Doha, Qatar. The position involves providing technical design and engineering services for HSE in projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for assigned projects
- Conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in house site surveys from concept to commissioning
- Ensure company technical assurance practices, engineering standards, and HSE policies are incorporated
- Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, and standards
- Support Engineering Department to review and update company standards
- Plan and coordinate activities of a multi discipline engineering team for timely delivery
- Coordinate engineering designs and develop multi disciplinary work scopes
- Review and approve method statements from contracted organizations
- Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in house engineering activities
- Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance
- Review and evaluate contract changes/variations
- Support development of personal and co worker technical competency
Requirements
- Experience in technical HSE engineering for oil and gas or similar industry
- Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and HSE regulations
- Ability to review technical deviations and variations
- Experience in coordinating multi discipline engineering teams
- Familiarity with FEED/EPIC scheduling and project delivery

Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical design and engineering services in Technical HSE Engineering for all assigned engineering projects.
- Achieve technical quality of work in accordance with Company procedures, considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.
- Conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in house site surveys for projects from concept definition through to commissioning.
- Ensure required Company technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated.
- Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices.
- Support Engineering Department to review, update and apply Company standards and amendments to external standards.
- Plan and coordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for timely delivery of technical services.
- Coordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi disciplinary work scopes for projects.
- Ensure work scope is comprehensive and clear.
- Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organizations for scope compliance.
- Develop, update and monitor schedules for in house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling.
- Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
