Overview

  • Raytheon is seeking a Senior Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Huntsville, AL, to join the Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML Section.

What You Will Do

  • Support the design, development, and/or utilization of high fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
  • Contribute to trade studies to assess system performance of weapons against a variety of threats in kill chain scenarios.
  • Contribute knowledge of performance engineering practices to evaluate computational problems.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to develop analytic approaches and generate supporting data.
  • Participate in development and implementation of model based solutions for decision support systems.
  • Participate in validation and testing of models, software components and/or integrated systems.
  • Occasional travel as needed to support the customer/Program (<10% travel).

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB or Python.
  • Experience in at least two of: Systems engineering life cycle, Software development/object oriented design using C/C++ and/or Java.
  • Experience with AI, ML, Surrogate Modeling, or HPC.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued interim Secret security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Advanced Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Active Top Secret DoD clearance.
  • Experience in data analysis and statistics with large volumes of data.
  • Experience with AFSIM or other Simulation Modeling development and/or analysis.
  • Experience conducting analyses and studies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range

  • 86,800 USD 165,200 USD per year.
