About the Role
LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a Senior Project Network Engineer for an 18-month remote contract in Dubai. The role requires 15+ years of experience, CCIE certification, and expertise in routing, switching, Cisco ACI, cloud networking, SDWAN, and network automation.

Responsibilities
- Lead network engineering projects at enterprise level
- Design and implement routing, switching, and ACI solutions
- Manage cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
- Implement SDWAN, SDN, and network automation using Python and Ansible
- Configure and troubleshoot WAN routing protocols
- Manage wireless infrastructure with Aruba solutions
- Optimize WAN performance using Riverbed or Silver Peak
- Troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark and diagnostic tools
- Ensure endpoint network security
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise level network engineering
- CCIE (Enterprise or Datacenter) – Mandatory
- Expert knowledge in routing and switching technologies
- Well versed with Cisco ACI setup
- Strong experience in cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
- Hands on experience with SDWAN, SDN, and network automation (Python, Ansible)
- Deep expertise in WAN routing (BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, IPSEC, GRE)
- Experience with Aruba Wireless, ClearPass/CPPM, AirWave, and Central
- Experience with WAN optimization platforms (Riverbed, Silver Peak)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and advanced diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of endpoint network security (802.1x, NAC, ISE, port security, ARP inspection)
- Working knowledge of SolarWinds, PRTG, and similar monitoring tools
