Role Overview
The role belongs to the HPS organization and the Proposal & Estimation function for global and India domestic business.
The position leads technical and commercial proposal development for PAS greenfield and LSS brownfield, migration, and upgrade projects.
The work requires coordination across customers, procurement, third-party vendors, internal business units, sales, and operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead RFP responses, estimates, and information requests for DCS, safety systems, and PLC control systems.
- Align proposal work with sales and operations goals across global and India domestic markets.
- Prepare accurate proposals and improve the proposal development process.
- Use systems and tools to manage estimates, proposals, customer requests, responses, and documentation.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and capture proposals and estimates in CPQ.
- Complete timely cost estimates and accurately portray costs.
- Propose technical and commercial alternatives that provide compliant, high-value bids.
- Study RFQs, customer documents, and drawings and propose suitable technical and commercial solutions.
