What You Will Do
- Understand project requirements and collaborate with global project owners, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Deliver milestones within committed quality, delivery, project-cost, and product-cost targets.
- Solve technical problems and participate in concept reviews, critical design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Manage multiple projects and develop concepts, components, specifications, DFMEA, and test plans.
- Create and release designs, drawings, bills of material, and specifications using PLM and PDM software such as ProE and Windchill.
- Coordinate design changes with cross-functional teams and resolve engineering issues with lifecycle engineering.
What You Will Bring
- BE degree, with a master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related specialization indicated in the source.
- At least 5 years of experience in component selection, system integration, concept development, design calculations, or lifecycle engineering.
- Experience in product design and development processes, DFMEA, test plan development, and prototype or engineering builds and testing.
- Knowledge of metal and non-metal component design, assemblies, manufacturing processes, and material properties.
- Ability to identify root causes, take effective action, and use problem-solving tools.
- Innovation, initiative, teamwork, and clear communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or components is an added advantage.
