Sr Engineer - PMC Procurement Material Coordinator - Office Based

Job Description Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
• Typically, minimum 15 years of experience in procurement, material coordination, or supply chain roles within PMC, EPC, or Owner organizations.
• Minimum 5 years offshore Project Experience is Mandatory.
• Strong experience in oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of procurement workflows, material management, and project controls.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and vendor practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and procurement/project management systems (e.g., SAP, Primavera, etc.).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Main Responsibilities

• Procurement & Material Coordination

• + Coordinate procurement activities between Engineering, Client, EPC Contractors, Vendors, and Site teams.
• + Review and track Material Requisitions (MRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and vendor documents for compliance with project requirements.
• + Monitor procurement schedules and material delivery status against the approved project baseline.
• + Maintain detailed material tracking logs, procurement status reports, and dashboards.
• + Interface with vendors to monitor manufacturing progress, inspections, testing, and dispatch schedules.
• + Support expediting activities to ensure on-time delivery of critical materials.
• + Identify potential delays and proactively propose mitigation actions.
• + Ensure materials conform to approved technical specifications, drawings, and standards.
• + Support bid evaluations and technical clarifications when required.
• + Verify procurement documentation aligns with contractual and quality requirements.
• High attention to detail with strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
