What you'll do
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
At least 10 years of in-depth experience in x86 or AMD architecture and hardware design.
At least 10 years of experience in EDA schematic design tools for PCB schematic creation, support Physical design activity and then define/perform low level hardware validation.
Experience in leading engineers/team wrt technical direction and product development.
Ability to triage and resolve complex hardware issues and provide guidance to other engineers who are assigned tasks related to the problem investigation.
Strong organizational skills to lead server subsystem designs with a team of highly motivated engineers that deliver innovative and challenging server designs.
Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
Server design experience is strongly preferred.
Previous experience in FPGA code development and validation, DC Power circuit design, and/or PCIe bus design, simulation, and validation. Proficiency in Linux/Windows Operating systems.
Experience with OS virtualization is a plus.
Strong proficiency in shell scripting (BASH/Perl/Python and Windows Power Shell) preferred.
Demonstrated leadership on a project with engineering team members located in multiple geographies.
Ability to provide mentorship to other engineers and support the growth and development of engineering talent applied to new technologies.
Business acumen to engage with various functional teams required to take projects from concept to production.
