SR. COUNSEL (LIQUIDS, DRY PRODUCTS & GAS MARKETING)

Primary Purpose of the Job

Core Legal Responsibilities

• Negotiate agreements related to liquids, dry products, and gas marketing activities.
• Administer related agreements and manage claims and disputes.
• Support marketing of crude and petroleum products, petrochemicals, chemicals, fertilizers, helium, natural gas, ethane, propane, and LPG.
• Provide legal support to non-lawyer stakeholders and relevant QatarEnergy entities.

Required Experience and Skills

• JD, LLB, or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• At least 10 years of private practice or in-house legal experience.
• Substantial experience relating to liquids, dry products, and gas marketing activities.
• Strong legal and drafting skills.
• Experience dealing with regulators and government representatives.
• Ability to analyze complex legal matters and provide practical advice to non-lawyers.
• Excellent written and spoken English and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive, organized, and self-disciplined approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

Educational Qualifications
