SR. COUNSEL (LIQUIDS, DRY PRODUCTS & GAS MARKETING)

Primary Purpose of the Job

Legal Support Scope

• Negotiate agreements related to liquids, dry products, and gas marketing activities.
• Administer agreements related to liquids, dry products, and gas marketing activities.
• Manage claims and disputes related to the supported marketing activities.
• Support marketing activities involving crude oil, petroleum products, petrochemicals, chemicals, fertilizers, helium, natural gas, ethane, propane, and LPG.

Required Experience and Skills

• JD, LLB, or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• At least 10 years of experience in private practice or in-house legal work.
• Substantial experience related to liquids, dry products, and gas marketing activities.
• Strong legal and legal drafting skills.
• Experience dealing with regulators and government representatives.
• Ability to assimilate complex legal matters and provide practical advice to non-lawyers.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
• Highly motivated, proactive, organized, and self-disciplined.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

Educational Qualifications

• JD, LLB, or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
