Job Purpose
Drive adoption of Agile and Scrum practices across IT and digital transformation initiatives.
Enable effective delivery, high-performing teams, continuous improvement, and increased organizational Agile maturity.
Agile and Scrum Implementation
- Lead Agile and Scrum adoption across projects and transformation initiatives.
- Introduce Agile practices, frameworks, tools, and standards to improve delivery effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain Scrum processes, guidelines, and ways of working.
- Support teams transitioning to Agile and drive continuous improvement.
Agile Delivery Management
- Support Agile delivery across digital transformation, technology, and IT initiatives.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective execution of sprint activities.
- Monitor sprint progress, backlog delivery, capacity, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams on backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
Coaching and Team Development
- Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
- Promote collaboration, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve team, process, and organizational impediments.
- Mentor Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners where required.
Performance and Transformation
- Monitor velocity, throughput, cycle time, backlog health, and sprint performance.
- Maintain Agile dashboards and provide delivery updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Assess Agile maturity and recommend improvements to processes, governance, and delivery practices.
- Develop and promote Agile standards, playbooks, training materials, and best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between business and technology teams.
- Support dependency management and alignment across Agile teams and workstreams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management Sciences and Systems or any relevant field.
- Six to ten years of work experience.
- Applications system analysis and applications system design competencies.
- Ability to lead Agile adoption, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and support delivery transparency.
- Ability to coach teams and stakeholders and resolve organizational impediments.
- Experience monitoring Agile metrics and identifying delivery risks and improvement opportunities.
Tools and Collaboration
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Ability to collaborate across business, technology, delivery, QA, and leadership stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute to enterprise Agile transformation and organizational change initiatives.
Role Accountability
Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively and provide periodic reports on planned task execution and deviations.
Solve related problems, escalate complex operational issues, and comply with policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure quality, health, safety, environmental, and legislative controls within the defined area of work.
