- Produce BIM deliverables including layouts, sections, schedules, details, coordinated drawings, and quantity take offs.
- Model and coordinate Electrical systems including Power Distribution, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Small Power, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Fire Alarm, Security, ICT, Public Address, and BMS.
- Review MEP BIM models and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate Electrical BIM models with other disciplines and participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Engineers and BIM Modelers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 4–7 years of BIM experience in MEP projects with specialization in Electrical systems
- Experience on commercial, residential, mixed use, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, aviation, transportation, or infrastructure projects
- UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Electrical and ELV systems and BIM based project delivery processes
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office Suite

Position Summary
- iTech Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior BIM Engineer – MEP (Electrical) to join its Digital Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and reviewing MEP BIM models with a primary focus on Electrical and ELV sys
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage MEP BIM models with a primary focus on Electrical and ELV systems.
- Produce BIM deliverables including layouts, sections, schedules, details, coordinated drawings, and quantity take offs.
- Model and coordinate Electrical systems including Power Distribution, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Small Power, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Fire Alarm, Security (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection), ICT & Structured Cabling, Public Address, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Ensure project deliverables comply with client requirements, project specifications, and BIM standards.
- Review MEP BIM models and deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Conduct model audits and quality checks before submission.
- Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company BIM standards, naming conventions, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
- Coordinate Electrical BIM models with Mechanical, Plumbing, Architectural, Structural, Civil, and Infrastructure disciplines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and model review workshops.
- Support clash detection activities and assist in resolving discipline specific coordination issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Engineers and BIM Modelers.
- Prepare BIM documentation, model registers, coordination records, and project reports as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–7 years of BIM experience in MEP projects with a specialization in Electrical systems.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, mixed use, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, aviation, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
- UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Electrical and ELV systems and BIM based project delivery processes.
Technical Skills
- Mandatory: Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred: Dynamo, Autodesk Recap Pro, Dialux EVO, ETAP, BIM Collaborate Pro, Power BI.
- BIM Knowledge: BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Common Data Environment (CDE), ISO 19650 Standards, Clash Detection & Resolution, Level of Development (LOD), BIM Documentation and Digital Deliverables, Model based Quantity Extraction, MEP Coordination Workflows.
