Role summary
Provide experienced L2 application and infrastructure support for project-related initiatives.
Support application deployment, environment setup, middleware, databases, infrastructure, and monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 application support for project and production-related activities.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot UAT environments.
- Support and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications across environments.
- Investigate and resolve application, infrastructure, and database issues.
- Monitor application performance and system health using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams on issue resolution and project delivery.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend service improvements.
- Follow incident and change management processes.
Application and DevOps
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Bitbucket and version control practices.
- Experience with application installation, configuration, and environment setup.
Database and infrastructure
- Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
- Experience writing queries, troubleshooting database issues, and supporting application data requirements.
- Good understanding of infrastructure components, server management, and application hosting environments.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Monitoring and middleware
- Hands-on experience with ELK Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
- Experience supporting Java-based applications.
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting JBoss Application Server.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise application environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities are preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced support and project delivery environment is preferred.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience in application support, middleware support, infrastructure support, or DevOps-related roles.
