Business Function

DBS Consumer Banking Group supports customers across branches with deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards, and personal loans.

The role manages affluent clients with AUM of at least INR 1 million and supports the Treasures customer segment.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and engage clients through a needs-based approach and cross-sell or up-sell DBS products and services.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and service levels through proactive engagement and relationship management.
  • Acquire and upgrade quality clients in branch-area markets to the Treasures segment.
  • Grow AUM through customer retention, wallet-share expansion, and client nurturing.
  • Achieve agreed monthly and annual volume and revenue objectives.
  • Activate e-Channels, online mutual funds, debit cards, and savings book growth.
  • Implement product strategies and optimize product mix and new-to-product customer acquisition.
  • Build client trust and loyalty through lifestyle and beyond-banking propositions.
  • Ensure compliance with sales processes, AML/KYC requirements, risk reviews, and onboarding due diligence.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints within the agreed turnaround time.
  • Coordinate with consumer banking, service, distribution, and product teams to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a reputed bank.
  • Proficiency in banking products.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market and competition.
  • Graduate qualification equivalent to 10+2+3.
  • AMFI, IRDAI, or FEDAI certification with BCSBI certification is an added advantage.
