Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Architect- Bim Manager

to lead and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across multidisciplinary projects for our office in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidate will play a strategic role in overseeing BIM standards, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality design delivery in line with project requirements, international best practices, and local regulations.

This role combines architectural expertise, BIM leadership, and project coordination, supporting Trust’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and excellence in design and consultancy services.

Bim Leadership & Management

  • Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM standards, workflows, and execution plans across projects.
  • Act as the primary BIM authority for architectural disciplines, ensuring compliance with company, client, and project BIM requirements.
  • Prepare and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Model Responsibility Matrices, and BIM protocols.
  • Oversee model coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution in collaboration with structural, MEP, and infrastructure teams.

Architectural Design & Technical Oversight

  • Manage architectural BIM models from concept, schematic design, detailed design, and construction stages.
  • Ensure architectural designs comply with local codes, authority regulations, and international standards.
  • Review architectural models, drawings, and deliverables for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
  • Support design development with strong technical input and problem-solving capabilities.

Coordination & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to ensure seamless BIM integration.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and stakeholders on BIM-related matters.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide BIM progress updates and reports.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

  • Lead, guide, and mentor BIM architects and modelers.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct internal BIM training sessions and promote continuous improvement in digital practices.

Quality Control & Innovation

  • Implement QA/QC procedures for BIM models and outputs.
  • Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
  • Support automation, template development, and process optimization to improve efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • 10–15 years’ experience in architectural design with strong BIM exposure
  • Minimum 5 years as a BIM Manager / BIM Lead on medium to large-scale projects
  • Experience in multidisciplinary projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare, infrastructure)
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit; strong knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / ACC
  • Solid understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection, and ISO 19650 standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and client-focused
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Applicant based in Qatar preferred
