- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection) for residential, commercial, and mixed use projects.
- Prepare detailed mechanical design drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications.
- Develop design concepts in coordination with architectural and structural teams.
- Use engineering software such as AutoCAD (Revit/BIM is an advantage).
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
- Support preparation of tender documents, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems.
- Assist senior engineers in resolving technical issues during design and construction stages.
- Participate in site inspections to support design implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 3 years of experience in mechanical (HVAC/building services) design consultancy
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Familiarity with international codes and Qatar standards preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Currently based in Qatar or willing to relocate

Role Description
- We are a leading engineering consultancy in Doha seeking a motivated and detail oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Doha office.
- The ideal candidate will support the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient, sustainable, and high quality engineering solutions.
