Sports Administrator (Community Programmes)

The Sport, Exercise and Health Division is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Administrator (Community Programmes) to join the Business Development Team, which provides centralised business and operational support across the Division.

The role is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative support to the Division’s community sport programmes, currently including the University of Bristol Swim School, Junior Tennis Programme and Hockey Talent Academy. Working closely with programme leads, coaches, participants, parents and external partners, the postholder will help ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of these programmes while providing an excellent customer experience.

As a key member of the Business Development Team, the successful candidate will support participant administration, customer communications, payment and direct debit processes, stakeholder coordination and programme delivery. The role plays an important part in supporting the growth, sustainability and income generation of the Division’s community programmes, whilst maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.

The postholder will contribute to the Division’s strategic priorities by helping create inclusive opportunities for participation, supporting the health and wellbeing of our university and wider community, and fostering a sense of belonging through sport and physical activity.
