Job Description
The Speech Therapist will assess and treat speech and language disorders in children.
The role includes individual and group therapy, collaboration with support networks, documentation, and community education.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance communication skills.
- Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions in a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to create comprehensive support systems.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Engage in community outreach and provide workshops for teachers and caregivers.
- Utilize sensory rooms and therapeutic equipment effectively during sessions.
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a relevant field.
- Valid license to practice Speech and Language Therapy in the UAE.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
