Job description
The Speech Therapist will provide assessment and therapy services for children with speech and language disorders.
The role includes individual and group sessions, family and professional collaboration, documentation, outreach, and use of therapeutic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for children's speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
- Maintain detailed therapy, progress, and outcome documentation.
- Provide community workshops for teachers and caregivers.
- Use sensory rooms and therapeutic equipment during sessions.
Essential qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a relevant field.
- Valid UAE license to practice Speech and Language Therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired experience
- Minimum two years of direct pediatric speech and language therapy experience.
- Up to eight years of relevant experience is advantageous.
- Multidisciplinary team experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 7,000 per month.
Work location
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
