About the Role

- Identify and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points and use this to define opportunities and problem statements that inform the team’s work
- Lead and support discovery activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover customer needs and validate opportunities
- Work in a fast paced team of engineers, product managers, and designers to uncover customer problems and deliver impactful solutions across multiple web and mobile platforms
- Consider business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements to produce impactful and valuable solutions
- Creatively translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive, and effective experiences that deliver customer and business value
- Rapidly and pragmatically produce concepts and prototypes, understanding when further ideation, testing, or changing directions is needed
- Run experiments frequently to validate assumptions and optimize solutions
Requirements
- 3 5 years of product design experience within a consumer focused organization and a proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences
- Deep understanding of product strategy and business requirements, with a strong focus on addressing customers’ needs and pain points
- Comfortable planning and conducting research from interviews and usability tests to surveys, and integrating insights into design process
- Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools (Figma, Framer, Miro)
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
- Online portfolio or PDF with up to 3 projects demonstrating design thinking process

About the Role
- We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team focusing on the Digital Consumer Travel experience.
- You will play a key part in shaping the future of how customers book and manage a diverse range of travel products, including flights, stays, activities, and more.
- You will work in a cross functional team of engineers, product managers, and other designers to turn problems and opportunities into meaningful and impactful experiences.

Profile Requirements
- 3 5 years of product design experience within a consumer focused organization and a proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences.

- Design thinker and problem solver at heart, consistently striving to gain a deep understanding of the customers, business, and problems.
- Comfortable planning and conducting research from interviews and usability tests to surveys, and integrating insights into design process.
- Communication skills to tell a story about your work and communicate complex concepts to technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools (Figma, Framer, Miro); experience with design systems.
- Regularly seek and give constructive feedback; share and discuss work openly at every stage.
- Love working with other designers and cross functional team members; thrive on transparency and effective communication.
- Online portfolio or PDF with up to 3 projects that best represent your design thinking process and demonstrate impact.
- Experienced in the entire product design cycle: from UX research, wireframes and prototypes to final design, implementation and optimization.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Framer, Proto.io).
- Strong visual design background with knowledge of Google Material Guidelines, Apple Human Interface Guidelines and design systems.
